Upon arriving at the Orbite Campus, guests will be escorted to their accommodations after a short tour of the Astronaut Training Campus. You will meet with your Astronaut Training Instructor for a short consultation regarding your spaceflight objectives as well as our Chief Medical Officer for a holistic wellness consultation before enjoying a relaxing evening and welcome reception at the l’Etoile Restaurant.

DAY 1

Suborbital Familiarization

Your first day begins with a professional instructional course on everything suborbital spaceflight, including types of vehicles, flight profiles, and how to maximize the enjoyment of your out of this world experience! You then virtually tour the fleet of existing and future suborbital spacecraft followed by flying full mission profiles in Orbite’s virtual reality training environment.

From here you will proceed into the spacecraft simulator training bay where your suborbital spacecraft awaits, and your familiarization training begins. Finally, enjoy a breathtaking emotional voyage as you learn about the Overview Effect and how preparing the body physically, mentally and spiritually for spaceflight is important for your once in a lifetime experience!

DAY 2

Emergency Scenarios and G-Force Training

Your second day is dedicated to maximizing your precious time in space, learning safety procedures, experiencing launch and re-entry, as well as practicing emergency scenarios. The day begins with a thought-provoking exercise on what your goals are in space and how best to achieve them with efficient
tips and tricks. From there you will practice executing your goals in a simulated suborbital spacecraft environment complete with real launch and re-entry g forces. Finally, in the spacecraft simulator training bay, you will practice normal and emergency scenarios to ensure you are safely and confidently
prepared for anything! Conclude the day with a group chat on lessons learned and a fabulous dinner!

 

DAY 3

High Performance Aircraft Training

Today is the day you put what you’ve learned into practical application – in the air! Start the day with a suborbital health and fitness class that will demonstrate different exercises you can do to keep your mind and body healthy for spaceflight. Afterward, a private transfer to the airport where, after a briefing, you will climb into a a high- performance acrobatic aircraft to experience the thrills of high G and zero gravity flight while you practice everything you’ve learned! Back on the ground you will be able to absorb more and feel confident knowing you are one step closer to being fully ready for your suborbital spaceflight!

Day 4

Microgravity Flight Training

  • Microgravity Briefing and Safety Check
  • Advanced Microgravity Flight with 15 parabolas
  • Advanced Microgravity Techniques
  • Regravitation Ceremony
  • Personal Reflections & Quiz
  • Graduation
  • Celebration Dinner

On your final day, you culminate your program with actually floating in space like an astronaut! You begin your last day with a briefing on microgravity and learning advanced movement techniques. Once on the aircraft, you will be able to practice your goals in space you’ve outlined one last time in a
true microgravity setting as you perform multiple parabolas high above Orbite’s training campus. Back on the ground, you
will have a group discussion to recount any final reflections and take a quiz. Then off to the graduation ceremony! We conclude the day and the program with a celebration group
dinner.
