Curacao Site Visit Report

A Deep Dive into Our 2025 Training Destination
At Orbite, every detail of our experiences is meticulously crafted to deliver something extraordinary. Last week, Orbite's Head of Astronaut Training, Brie Rommes, and CEO, Jason Andrews, traveled to Curaçao for an onsite visit to the global home of our submersible and diving training operations. This visit was to ensure that everything is set for Sea Space Odyssey
Their visit reaffirmed what we already knew—Curaçao is the perfect location for our global submersible operating base. The crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean provide unparalleled visibility, making it an exceptional training ground for our underwater expeditions.
Jason and Brie had the opportunity to embark on a submersible dive, reaching depths of 650 feet (198 meters). Piloting a state-of-the-art submersible across the seafloor is an experience like no other—akin to navigating a spacecraft, yet with the added wonder of returning to a tropical paradise upon surfacing.
During their visit, they also spent valuable time with the experts at U-Boat Worx, touring their facilities and exploring the latest advancements in submersible technology. These cutting-edge vessels will be at the heart of our training programs, providing an unmatched experience for our future explorers.

But Sea-Space Odyssey is far more than an underwater submersible adventure—
it is a journey that captures mind, body, and spirit through the experience of preparing for space travel. Beyond our deep-sea dives, we've curated an itinerary that includes:
- A handpicked resort offering stunning ocean views and top-tier relaxation.
- Guided snorkeling and diving excursions in some of the Caribbean's most pristine waters.
- Expert-led sessions on submarine operations and analogous spacecraft skills.
We are thrilled to share such an extraordinary place with our clients. This visit to Curaçao was the final step in ensuring that every aspect of Sea-Space Odyssey is fine-tuned and ready for liftoff.
